Original pre-owned Nintendo NES part. The replacement game cart holder is made for the NTSC (US, Canada) Nintendo system. The NES game tray is the game loading and seating mechanism for the NES motherboard. Besides from assuring that the game aligns perfectly with the 72 pin connector, it also seats it securely in place. The NES Game Cartridge Tray is spring loaded for easy lock and unlocking games into the up and down position within the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) console. If the NES game tray is broken, the game will not stay in the down position (or not return to the up position), or there will be a misalignment of the game cartridge.
